EFCC Arrests Proprietor, Students of Yahoo Training School

EFCC, Lagos Zonal Office, has arrested the proprietor of a Yahoo Yahoo training school in Lagos, Frank Chinedu.
.

Chinedu, 22, was arrested alongside eight students of the unnamed training centre located at 14, Animashaun Street, Progressive Estate, Ojodu Berger, Lagos, while receiving lectures in internet fraud activities.
.

The students are: Ahmed Musa, 24; Desmond Eze, 29; Preye Kingsley, 23; Benjamin Irabor, 21; Benjamin Opah, 19; Akapo Prosper, 22; Innocent Paul, 20 and Olamide Edun, 20.

The suspected internet fraudsters were arrested under cover on May 22, 2019, following intelligence reports received by the Commission about their involvement in alleged criminal activities.

Items recovered from the suspects at the point of arrest include nine laptops, 16 mobile phones, an Airtel modem, Orange Wifi and one Toyota Camry. The suspects will soon be charged to court.

Naira Marley Pleads ‘Not Guilty’, Remanded In Prison Custody Till May 30th

The singer was brought into the court premises in
Ikoyi, Lagos by the men of the Economic and
Financial Crimes Commission on Monday, May 20,
2019.
He appeared in the court wearing a white T shirt
and a pair of jeans. His lawyer was however
absent at the court.
Naira Marley Pleads ‘Not Guilty’, To Be Remanded
In EFCC Custody Until May 30 .
After the charges were read to him in the presence
of Justice Nicholas Oweibo, he pleaded ‘ not guilty’.

Azeez Fashola, better known as Naira Marley has
pleared not guilty to the 11 count charge preferred
against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes
Commission. .
After the charges were read to him in the presence
of Justice Nicholas Oweibo, he pleaded ‘ not guilty’.
Justice Oweibo however slated the 30th of May for
the hearing of bail application.
Until then Naira Marley will be remanded in
prison custody.

Many Bloggers can confirm that singer Zlatan IbIle , has
been arrested by the men of the Economic And Financial
Crimes Commission (EFCC) shortly after his close pal and
associate Naira Marley was arrested by the
Agency.Although the reasons for his arrest have not been
clear just yet, but we can gather that it has to do with his
support for Naira Marley who released a statement some
weeks ago about internet fraud not being a crime.Both
artistes also released a song recently. A song that mocks
the people’s perception of them being “Yahoo boys” and
this probably could have made EFCC curious about their
ways of life.Zlatan also in 2019 has acquired a brand new
house and three expensive cars in 2019 alone and this
probably could have alerted the commission. They could
be wondering from what source he got the money to
acquire the fortune and then decide on inviting him over
