Real Madrid New head coach make statements about Cristiano Ronaldo

Real Madrid new coach, Julen Lopetegui has revealed that forward, Gareth Bale can help fill the void left by Portugal captain, Cristiano Ronaldo at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Ronaldo left the reigning Champions League holders as their all-time highest goalscorer to join Juventus in a £99million switch earlier this summer.

But Lopetegui believes Bale, who was named man of the match after scoring twice in Real Madrid’s Champions League final victory over Liverpool in May, was a magnificent player with many qualities and can make the Spanish giants forget about Ronaldo.

Speaking at a news conference in Miami, USA ahead of Real Madrid’s fixtures against Manchester United in the International Champions Cup on Wednesday, Lopetegui said: “When I signed for Madrid him (Cristiano Ronaldo) still belonged to this club but shortly after he said he wanted to leave and his departure was made.

“Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the most important players in the recent history of Real Madrid and the legacy he leaves is extraordinary, but the greatness of the club is above everything and everyone.

“As a coach, the challenge of reinventing the team after the departure of a player like Cristiano is very nice.

“We are convinced that Gareth Bale is going to give us his best version this season. He is delighted to stay at Real Madrid.

“Bale is a magnificent player, with so many qualities. He can help fill the void.”

Lopetegui added, “Bale had worked extremely well with Benzema in training. If this is the squad I have at the start of the season, I will be a happy man.

Senator Adeleke polled a total of 1,569 votes to beat his closest rival Dr Akin Ogunbiyi who scored 1,562 votes.

Delegates at the primary, however, demanded a recount of the ballot papers but Governor Dickson reportedly declined the request.

Having won the PDP ticket, Senator Adeleke would contend with Gboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress (APC), as well as candidates of other political parties in the September 22 governorship election.

About 3,000 delegates from various wards across the local government areas of the state participated in the exercise.

Eleven aspirants had indicated interest to represent the party in September, but seven of the candidates later pulled out.

They include a former Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Adejare Bello, Professor Adeolu Durotoye, Jide Adeniji, Senator Olasunkanmi Akinlabi, Ayoade Adewopo, Lere Oyewumi and Felix Ogunwale.

The aspirants said they resolved to withdraw to ensure stronger bond within the party, and because of the appeals from PDP leaders.

Senator Adeleke consequently beat Dr Akin Ogunbiyi, as well as Fatai Akinbade and Nathaniel Oke to emerge the winner of the primary.

Ekiti state Governorship election Results

The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, has been officially declared winner of Saturday’s governorship election in Ekiti state.
Fayemi was declared governor-elect by the Chief Returning Officer, Prof. Idowu Abel Olayinka at 7.59 am on Sunday.
Olayinka, who is the Vice Chancellor of the University of Ibadan, declared the poll’s outcome after party agents signed the official result sheet.
Fayemi polled 197, 459 votes to defeat the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate and incumbent Deputy Governor, Professor Kolapo Olusola who garnered 178, 121 votes.
The former Minister’s declaration was greeted with the chants of APC Change! APC change! APC change!!! by party faithful at the state collation centre.
According to Olayinka, total number of valid votes cast is 394, 594.
Total number of rejected votes is 18, 857 while total number of votes cast is 403, 451.

Other results declared by Olayinka include Accord, 250; Action Alliance, 41; ACD, 1149; AD, 216; ADB, 1082; ADA, 107; AGAO, 31; ANRP, 125; APA, 1199; and APDA, 464.
Also declared were APGA, 70; ANPP, 14; DA, 14; DPC, 147; DPP,181; FJP, 42; GPN, 20; I.D, 31;, KOWA, 23; LP, 280; MMN, 35; MPN, 23; NDLP, 44; NPC, 353 PANDEL, 74; and PGC, 1242.
Others are DPA, 632; PPN, 107; SDO, 367; UDP, 29; UPN, 33; YDP, 31 and YPP, 49.
Olayinka said the total valid votes in the election was 384,594 while total votes cast was 403,451, with 18,857 votes invalidated.
Resident Electoral Commissioner, Professor AbdulGaniy Olayinka Raji, expressed satisfaction with the conduct and integrity of the exercise.
Raji said: “We kept our promise and we have kept to our promise.”
APC agent, Mr. Sunday Adunmo, said Fayemi’s victory is an assurance that better days are ahead.
He said: “This is victory for Ekiti men, women, young and old. We thank God that we have reclaiming our land and restoring our values.
“The light is back again, darkness is over in Ekiti.”
Fayemi’s declaration as governor-elect has sparked jubilation in many towns and communities.
The PDP, however, rejected the results, saying the election was marred by irregularities and attacks of its members and supporters.
The party’s agent at the collation centre, Mr Sunday Olowolafe, urged the commission to stay action on the declaration of a winner until a re-run was conducted where there were established cases of violence, vote-buying and ballot snatching.
Fayemi is expected to take over from the incumbent, Mr Ayo Fayose, on Oct. 16, 2018.

Today News about Ronaldo move To Juventus

T he departure of Cristiano Ronaldo from Real
Madrid , and his presumable arrival in Turin,
has now entered its decisive phase.
After the conversations held by the player's agent,
Jorge Mendes, with the general manager of Los
Blancos, Jose Angel Sanchez, the last and final step
would be the formal presentation, by Juventus, of
the firm offer for the Portuguese footballer.
The famous 100 million euros with which Ronaldo
would have free rein to go to the Italian team.
However, some delicate details remain to be
agreed by Real and their player.
It's the 'battle of the way out' in which the 100m is
in the background.
That's because, beyond the money, club and player
will also collide regarding the timing and nature of
the announcement.
Madrid want an 'agreed' goodbye, in which
Cristiano assumes responsibility for his departure
and gives the go ahead for 100m euro bid to be
lodged.
In fact, the 'reminder' that the clause is still one
billion is interpreted as a double intention of
Madrid: On the one hand, try to reach 120 million
euros in the final negotiations for the transfer.
On the other, and more importantly, take the reins
of communication and ensure that the public
understands that the club doesn't want to part with
the player.
Meanwhile, Ronaldo is on a different path, that of
being pushed to leave, and that's something much
more far reaching than his purchase price.
Wait for Cristiano's pronouncement
The club are open to satisfying the player's desire,
but only as long as he is the first to publicly
communicate his willingness to leave Real Madrid.
They are still awaiting Juventus' offer and will
honour a commitment around a hypothetical
decrease in the clause from one billion euros to
100m - as long as Ronaldo reaffirms his position to
change clubs.
Without those words, there's no rebate.
It is an indispensable condition for the situation to
be unblocked, and Los Blancos don't want a soap
opera.
The exit will be as friendly as possible, but the
requirement to start negotiating is Cristiano's
previous statement in which he says he wants to
leave.
Cristiano doesn't want Real to tell the story
Ronaldo reappeared in Costa Navarino, Greece,
where he will spend the first part of his holiday
with his family while his move from Real Madrid
takes place in Spain.
The fight is not to discuss whether or not he
remains at the club, it's to decide how he goes
about announcing his departure.
He already knows that Los Blancos have asked him
to take the first step, to say publicly that he wants
to leave Madrid.
In that sense, the words of Jorge Mendes, his
representative, in the newspaper Record, can lead
the way.
Cristiano doesn't want the operation of his transfer
to be delayed, but he doesn't want Madrid to be
the one to tell the story of his departure either.
He already knows that his exit can be twisted if he
shows intransigence at the time of the goodbye
communication, and Madrid will revert to the
higher clause to force him to explain his departure.
The 100 million euro document is useless if the
player won't make the first move.
As he has already given his word to Juventus, the
move to Turin has begun and as he can't stand
Florentino Perez any more, he needs to unblock
the situation.
Cristiano, who wants a low key exit, isn't willing to
sign a confidentiality clause that would prevent
him from giving his version of the facts in the
future.
He is leaving Madrid when his real dream was to
retire in the all white.
Juventus, meanwhile, expect things to start
happening
Andrea Agnelli, the highest representative of the
Turin club, awaits the definitive confirmation by
Jorge Mendes that the price to get Cristiano
Ronaldo out of Real Madrid is 100m euros and thus
definitively undertake the hiring.
Agnelli, in close collaboration with the club's main
shareholders - including the powerful FIAT group -
concluded that the operation was viable and
profitable for that amount.
It's not only the obvious football contribution and
the quality that

Cristiano can give his team, but

Agnelli is also aware that he will be signing an

international brand that will expand the image of

Juventus all over the world, with the important

economic benefit that this entails.

The Turin president himself has spoken on several

occasions with the Portuguese star to personally

know his availability and has the word of the

player.

Now all that remains is that, as they assured him at

the time, it's confirmed that the purchase price is

Cristiano Ronaldo have reportedly signed for juventus and passed medical

Portuguese superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo, 33, has reportedly signed for ‘Juventus from Real Madrid and passed a medical.’

The news of his transfer to the Italian club was revealed by disgraced former Juventus chief Luciano Moggi who claimed that Cristiano Ronaldo has ‘already signed’ from Real Madrid and passed a medical.

The 80-year-old who was Juventus’ chief executive from 1994 to 2006 before receiving a lifetime ban from football for his part in the ‘Calciopoli’ match-fixing scandal, told Italian TV network Tele7Gold: ‘In my opinion, he has already signed and passed the medical examination with Juventus in Munich.

‘This is what I think after talking to important people.’

This follows the strong speculation that the Five-time Ballon d’Or winner has been the subject of an £88million bid from the Italian champions, which Real Madrid football club were considering.

Miss Linda Angela Igwetu was meant to have passed out tomorrow from her NYSC program from her primary assignment positing at Outsource Global Company Mabushi.

She finished at work late at about 11pm and joined a few friends to a hang out before their Passing Out Parade scheduled for the next day.

They left for home at about 3am and was shot at shortly after the check point immediately after Ceddi Plaza by a Police Officer identified as Benjamin PETERS. The bullet hits Angela on her side, by the midriff and she began loosing blood in the open roof vehicle.

She was rushed to the Garki hospital but they wouldn’t treat her until they see a police report despite the fact that the police officers were present. While the deliberation was ongoing, Angela bled to death.

The case was later taken to Federal Secretariat Police Station where the elder sister of the deceased Chineye Igwetu was crying for help before our legal team reached her, minutes after we were notified of the incident.

WAEC Releases Result Of Candidates That Sat For 2018 SSCE Exams

The results of candidates that participated in the 2018 May/ June West African Senior School Certificate Examination, WASSCE for school candidates has been released.

As earlier reported by Naija News , the results were announced on Wednesday at the WAEC training and Testing center, Ogba-Ikeja in Lagos.

Candidates can now access their results from WAEC’s website after purchasing the WAEC result checker scratch card from any accredited dealer by following the following simple steps:

1. Enter your 10-digit WAEC Examination Number on the portal. (Thisis your 7-Digit centre number followed byyour 3-digit candidate number eg. 4123456789)

2. Enter the 4 digits of your Examination Year e.g 2018

3. Select the Typeof Examinationi.e. SCHOOL CANDIDATE RESULT

4. Enter the Card Serial Number foundon the reverse side of your Scratch card.

5. Enter the Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your Scratch card.

6. Click Submitand wait for the results window tocome up.
