A New Dawn has come to stay. We have come with a
message of hope, not forcing or cajoling people to vote but
making everyone understand their roles as New citizens of the
Federal Republic of a New Nigeria, which include upholding
and strengthening the democratic process. The Old Citizens
are apolitical, unconcerned and pessimistic about the future of
our dear Nation, so they would rather do nothing. But the New
Citizens are awake and gradually realizing their roles in
Politics and Nation Building; They have not only decided to
vote during elections, they are also encouraging others to
participate in the quest for credible leadership. Age is not a
determinant of Old or New Citizens, it has everything to do
with our mindset.
This is a call to revamping the Glory of our Nation - The
Youths. It goes beyond contesting, winning or losing
elections. It encompasses the PASSION to deliver a desirable
Nation within the shortest time frame. It has to do with how
our leaders emerge and how we measure our progress, both
qualitatively and quantitatively as a Nation. Its a test of
whether we shall grab the opportunity once again to speak up
or remain silent in the face of injustice and thereby join the
sides of the oppressors... It's a function of how relevant the
common man is.
We are ready to replace the Ideology of our Governance with
something more noble, humane, and visionary. We are ready
to support young visioneers in politics without fear of favour
or prejudice. We are not going to demoralize them because we
understand that even in the Holy Book, Vision is associated
with the Young.
